Reinforcement Classes (Academic Year 2025–26) commence on 8 September 2025 and conclude during the week of 11 May 2026 for students whose programme spans 9 months, comprising a total of 33 sessions.

Classes generally last 2 hours and are held Monday to Friday in the time slots of 17:15–19:15 and 19:15–21:15. However, for students from Runnymede College, classes may be scheduled from 16:45–18:45 and 18:45–20:45. In addition, for students enrolled in the IB Double Pack (Maths AA HL + Physics HL), class duration is 3 hours, with sessions scheduled from 17:15 to 20:45.

A maximum of five students is permitted per class.

In the Reinforcement Class Holiday Calendar (Academic Year 2025–26), Think Ahead Academy shall specify those days that are designated as Holidays, during which no academic year classes will be held, as well as those defined as Recoverable Holidays, for which the manner and format of rescheduling will be communicated.

All Reinforcement Classes (Academic Year 2025–26) are delivered in English, except for IB subjects taught in Spanish, depending on the students’ school of origin.

Enrolment and reservation of places

To formalise the reservation of a place prior to the start of the 2025–26 Academic Year, payment of both the enrolment fee and the deposit is required, which shall be invoiced accordingly.

The enrolment fee is €100 for those enrolling in one subject, and €160 for those enrolling in two or more subjects. The deposit amounts to €100 and is payable only once, regardless of the number of subjects.

The enrolment fee is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. The deposit shall only be refunded during the final account settlement at the end of the academic year, and only if the student remains enrolled until the conclusion of the 2025–26 Academic Year.

Once the 2025–26 Academic Year has commenced, the deposit is no longer required; however, an enrolment fee must still be paid, which remains strictly non-refundable in all cases:

  • During the first term, the enrolment fee shall be €100 for one subject or €160 for two or more subjects.

  • From 1 January 2026, the enrolment fee shall be €50 for one subject or €100 for two or more subjects.

  • From 6 April 2026, the enrolment fee shall be €20 for one subject or €30 for two or more subjects.

Annual Fee and Monthly Payments

As outlined in the following tables, group Reinforcement Classes (Academic Year 2025–26) are subject to a fixed annual fee, divided into 9 or 10 monthly instalments, depending on:

  • The duration of the Academic Year, which may be 37 or 33 weeks;

  • The number of subjects enrolled in, and the corresponding discounts applied:

    • 5% discount when enrolling in two subjects;

    • 15% discount when enrolling in more than two subjects;

  • The format of the class: in-person or online.

The monthly instalments into which the annual fee is divided—clearly shown in the tables below—shall be invoiced at the beginning of each month.

This fee does not include additional services such as Extra Classes, Intensive Courses, University Advisory Services, or the School Pick-Up Service.

Payment method

All payments for enrolment, deposit, classes, and, in general, any service provided by Think Ahead Academy shall be made via direct debit. Clients are required to provide the payer’s fiscal and banking details by completing the SEPA direct debit mandate issued by Think Ahead Academy. Repeated rejection of direct debit payments will result in the student’s discontinuation from their classes.

In exceptional cases where direct debit is not possible, payment for classes must be made quarterly in advance, within the first five working days of the first month of the quarterly period. Failure to make the advance quarterly payment on time will prevent the student from continuing with their classes at the academy.

Enrolments during the Academic Year

In the event that a student enrols after the start of the 2025–26 Academic Year, the annual fee will be calculated based on the number of remaining classes for the academic year. An adjustment will be made in the first monthly invoice so that the remaining instalments align with the fee structure set out in the previously mentioned tables.

Absence Policy

For enrolments made in the first term, the student is entitled to the following annual number of absences for any reason:

  • 1 absence for one enrolled subject

  • 2 absences for two enrolled subjects

  • 3 absences for three or more enrolled subjects

For enrolments made in the second term, the student is entitled to:

  • 1 annual absence for two enrolled subjects

  • 2 annual absences for three or more enrolled subjects

For enrolments made in the third term, no absences are permitted for the subjects enrolled.

For organisational reasons, it is compulsory to notify the academy of any absence before 14:00 on the day of the class, either via email to Clara Aragoncillo (clara.aragoncillo@thinkaheadeducation.com) or through the WhatsApp group shared by the academy with the client. Absences not reported before 14:00 will be invoiced.

If an absence is notified correctly and within the stated timeframe, the corresponding amount for that class will be refunded in the current month’s invoice (up to the maximum number of permitted absences), based on a reference value of €80 per two-hour class. The same discount percentage that applies to the client based on the number of subjects enrolled for the academic year will also be applied to this refund.

Extra Classes

Extra Classes are a resource provided by Think Ahead Academy to offer additional support (at a significantly reduced cost) to students who may require it.

An Extra Class may be requested by the client or recommended by the academy following a suggestion from the student’s teacher.

Extra Classes may be individual or group sessions, depending on the client’s preference and provided that the academy can accommodate the request based on teacher availability.

As they are intended to serve as a complementary educational tool, Extra Classes are priced at €25 per hour.

Extra Classes may only be booked for subjects in which the student is already enrolled during the Reinforcement Class period (Academic Year 2025–26).

Extra Classes will be invoiced on a monthly basis.

Final Account Settlement

At the conclusion of the Reinforcement Classes (Academic Year 2025–26), whether due to the client’s withdrawal or the natural end of the academic year, a final account settlement shall be carried out. This process takes into account the number of classes actually delivered out of the total scheduled for the year, with the aim of ensuring that only the classes held have been invoiced.

This settlement will be issued in the form of a single final invoice.

Pick-up Service

The Pick-Up Service is available exclusively for one-way journeys from King’s College Soto de Viñuelas to Think Ahead Academy.

The cost per journey is €12.

In the event of an absence from the Pick-Up Service, it is essential to notify the Secretariat before 14:00 on the day of the class.

Notification of an absence after 14:00 on the day of the class shall not exempt the client from payment for the scheduled journey.

In the event of a delay in the Pick-Up Service, Think Ahead Academy guarantees that the full two-hour class will be delivered.

Changes in Teaching Staff and Class Rescheduling

Teaching staff may be replaced, either temporarily or permanently, for justified reasons, by another teacher with equivalent qualifications.

In the event that a Reinforcement Class (Academic Year 2025–26) is cancelled at the initiative of the academy or coincides with a recoverable holiday as indicated in the Think Ahead Academy calendar, the class in question will be rescheduled. Should it not be possible to organise a replacement session due to reasons attributable to Think Ahead Academy, the corresponding amount will be refunded in the final account settlement (liquidation).

Christmas, Easter, Summer and Adhoc Intensive Courses

Christmas, Easter, Summer and Adhoc Intensive Courses

The Christmas, Easter, and Summer Intensive Courses consist of group sessions delivered by Think Ahead Academy, held either in the morning or afternoon and conducted online.

Ad hoc Intensive Courses consist of individual sessions delivered by Think Ahead Academy, conducted online and scheduled at a mutually agreed time with the client.

As a general rule, Intensive Course sessions have a duration of two hours; however, exceptions may apply, which will be clearly specified by Think Ahead Academy in the session details.

All sessions relating to academic subjects from the British System and the International Baccalaureate taught in English are delivered in English. Sessions are conducted in Spanish only for those IB subjects designated to be taught in Spanish.

Enrolment

Those interested in attending the Christmas, Easter, or Summer Intensive Courses may enrol in as many sessions as they wish, using the means and procedures provided by Think Ahead Academy. Enrolment in at least one session is required.

The student will be considered formally enrolled in each reserved session once the registration form has been received by Think Ahead Academy, at which point the corresponding invoicing process will begin.

Once a session has been formally booked, Think Ahead Academy undertakes to deliver the session on the scheduled date and time, providing the necessary human and material resources.

For Ad hoc Intensive Courses, the academy will agree the total duration of the course with the client. The student will be considered formally enrolled upon receipt of payment of the corresponding invoice.

Absence Policy

If, due to force majeure, Think Ahead Academy is unable to deliver a session of an Intensive Course, an effort will be made to reschedule the session. If rescheduling is not possible, the corresponding amount will be refunded to the client.

If a student is unable to attend a session for personal reasons or due to any form of indisposition, the absence must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance by email to Clara Aragoncillo (clara.aragoncillo@thinkaheadeducation.com). In such cases, the corresponding amount will be refunded, limited to one absence per Intensive Course. Any additional absence, even if properly notified within the required timeframe, will not be eligible for a refund.

If notice is given less than 24 hours in advance, the session will be considered non-recoverable and no refund will be issued.

Price and Payment Method

Each session of the Christmas, Easter, and Summer Intensive Courses is priced at €45 per hour.

Each session of an Ad hoc Intensive Course is also priced at €45 per hour.

Payment must be made via bank transfer to the account provided by Think Ahead Academy. Alternatively, Think Ahead Academy may collect payment for the sessions through a SEPA direct debit, provided the client has granted the corresponding authorisation.

Edexcel and CIE Exam Centre

Think Ahead Academy is a private, non-regulated educational centre and an official examination centre for IGCSE and A-Level exams with the Edexcel examination board. For Cambridge examinations, students will be referred to Virtus College, with whom Think Ahead Academy holds an exclusive partnership agreement.

Think Ahead Academy is not authorised to conduct examinations for any subjects within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Think Ahead Academy reserves the right to accept or decline exam registration requests, taking into account the available capacity and any internal limitations that may apply at a given time.

Think Ahead Academy is committed to safeguarding the interests of its candidates by ensuring that examination conditions comply with the requirements set by the examination board. The academy also takes full responsibility for the management and secure dispatch of exam papers to the United Kingdom for marking, as well as for the subsequent receipt and distribution of official grade certificates issued by the relevant British authority.

Enrolment

Those wishing to sit an official Edexcel or Cambridge examination may enrol in as many exams as they wish, using the means and procedures made available by Think Ahead Academy.

The student will be considered formally enrolled in each official examination upon receipt by Think Ahead Academy of the completed registration form, at which point the corresponding invoicing process will begin.

Once an examination session has been formally booked, Think Ahead Academy undertakes to conduct the exam on the date and at the time set by the corresponding examination board, providing the necessary human and material resources.

If, due to force majeure, Think Ahead Academy is unable to hold the scheduled exam session, the invoicing process will be halted and, where applicable, the total amount paid by the student will be refunded.

If the registered student is unable to attend the exam due to personal reasons or any form of indisposition, the full cost of the session will still be invoiced. Likewise, if payment has already been made, it will not be refunded. However, Think Ahead Academy will assess each case on an individual basis.

Price and Payment Method

The price of this service varies depending on the type of subject, the examination board, and the point in the academic year at which the registration is made.

Payment must be made via bank transfer to the account provided by Think Ahead Academy. Alternatively, Think Ahead Academy may collect the corresponding amount through a SEPA direct debit, provided that the client has given the appropriate authorisation.

  • Parents understand and accept that providing false, inaccurate, or misleading information may result in the rejection of the enrolment application or the expulsion of the student from the Academy. • It is the sole responsibility of the parents to ensure that the student holds the appropriate visa/permit to study in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Spain. Programme Fee

  • The start date of the Programme and the total number of teaching hours will be defined according to the personalised strategy agreed between the Academy and the family. This agreement does not preclude the possibility of increasing or decreasing the number of hours during the academic year if relevant changes in the student’s educational strategy are agreed upon by both parties.
  • The cost of the programme is calculated at a rate of €60 per hour, based on the total number of scheduled hours from the start date of the Programme until the week of 15 June 2026 (the final week of the 2025–26 academic year).

    • Cancelling lessons scheduled for the day before an official examination, unless the lesson is for the same subject as the exam.
    • Cancelling all lessons on the day of an official examination.
    • Adding online lessons during weekdays and/or at weekends to compensate for some of the cancelled sessions.
  • The Academy undertakes to send parents the adjusted lesson timetable for the official examination periods at least two weeks prior to the date of the student’s first official examination.
  • The Academy will calculate the net number of cancelled lessons during each official examination period and will refund the corresponding amount for each cancelled session in the final account reconciliation.

Other Fees

  • The following services are not included in the Programme Fee:

Enrolment Fee

  • Payment of the enrolment fee constitutes a non-refundable charge intended to cover the operational, administrative, and technological infrastructure costs associated with the organisation, management, and maintenance of the academic services provided.
  • €300 for enrolment in one or two subjects.
  • €500 for enrolment in three or four subjects.

Official Examinations

  • Students at the Academy will sit A-Level examinations from the Edexcel, IAL Edexcel, and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) boards. This fee may vary from one academic year to another.
  • For late registrations for which the delay is not attributable to the Academy, the applicable fee will depend on the cost of the examination at the time of registration.

Additional Lessons

  • Additional Lessons are sessions agreed upon between the Academy and the parents when it is considered that the student requires extra support, and which are not included in the scheduled teaching hours of the programme.

  • Payment of the invoice corresponding to the Enrolment Confirmation quotation will complete the student’s enrolment, thereby securing their place at the Academy. The deposit towards the Programme Fee will be deducted from the first invoice, in accordance with the payment schedule set out in Clause 48.
  • The Enrolment Confirmation is non-refundable.

Payment Terms

  • Payment of the Enrolment Reservation must be made by bank transfer within 10 calendar days from the date the invoice is issued.

  • If the invoices for each instalment are not received at least one week before the final SEPA debit date stipulated in Clause 48, it is the responsibility of the parents to contact the Academy.
  • Failure to receive an invoice for an instalment does not exempt parents from the obligation to ensure that sufficient funds are available in the account to cover the direct debit within the established timeframes.
  • If parents fail to pay the amounts due, the student may be excluded from the Academy. Additionally, the Academy reserves the right not to register the student for official examinations and to withhold all results, certificates, and academic records until payment has been made in full.
  • No fees will be refunded for a student’s temporary absence due to illness or any other reason.
  • If a third party is responsible for paying any fees to the Academy, parents must inform the Academy in advance and provide the relevant details of the third party. Parents accept that it is their responsibility to clearly explain all the terms and conditions set out in this agreement to the third party and to provide them with a copy of this agreement.

Student Absence, Staff Changes and Lesson Recovery

  • Student absences, whether justified or not, will not be rescheduled and do not exempt payment for the corresponding lessons.
  • Teaching staff may be replaced, for justified reasons, either temporarily or permanently, by another teacher with equivalent qualifications.
  • If a lesson is cancelled at the request of the Academy or coincides with a recoverable holiday as indicated in the Think Ahead Academy calendar, it will be rescheduled. If it is not possible to organise such rescheduling due to reasons attributable to Think Ahead Academy, the amount corresponding to each cancelled session will be refunded in the final account reconciliation.

Health, Safety and Damages

  • In the event of a medical emergency, the Academy will make every effort to contact the parents. However, should this not be possible, the parents authorise the Academy to seek medical advice and treatment for the student and undertake to cover any costs that the Academy may incur as a result, thereby releasing the Academy from all liability.
  • Parents acknowledge and understand, under their own responsibility, that in the event of an outbreak of a contagious or infectious disease, the Academy may be required to close or to deny entry to a student or group of students for the period deemed necessary by the management. In such circumstances, the parents expressly waive any form of claim against the Academy.
  • While the student is present at the Academy, the parent, guardian or legal representative agrees that the student’s mobile phone may be held by Academy staff, unless the student requests its use in the event of an emergency. Likewise, all electronic devices used by students on the premises will have restricted access to social networks and websites not required for academic purposes.
  • Parents accept that the Academy shall not be held liable for death, bodily injury, or any form of loss or damage suffered by the student while on Academy premises, unless such harm is attributable to negligence on the part of the Academy.
  • Parents are responsible for and must cover the cost of any intentional damage caused by the student to Academy property, the property of Academy staff, or that of other students. Parents of students who lose or misplace books, iPads, or any other materials provided by the Academy must reimburse the Academy 100% of the item’s value, as reflected in the corresponding purchase invoices.

School Life

  • Parents accept the authority of the Headteacher and other members of staff to act on their behalf in taking all disciplinary or preventive measures necessary to safeguard and promote the wellbeing of the student and the wider school community.
  • At the discretion of the Headteacher, the Academy reserves the right to temporarily suspend or permanently expel a student in cases of misconduct or serious breaches of discipline.
  • Students are not permitted to smoke or consume illegal drugs or alcohol on Academy premises. It is strictly forbidden to bring or possess any form of drugs or weapons on site. In cases where drug or alcohol use is suspected, testing may be required, and parents will be duly informed.
  • Any communication made by the Academy or its staff with one parent shall be considered as having been received by both parents.

Examination Centre

  • Think Ahead Academy is a private, non-regulated educational institution and, at the same time, an official examination centre for IGCSE and A-Level exams administered by the Edexcel examination board. For Cambridge examinations, students will be referred to Virtus College, with whom Think Ahead Academy holds an exclusive agreement.
  • Think Ahead Academy is not authorised to conduct examinations for any subject of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
  • Think Ahead Academy reserves the right to register candidates for these examinations, taking into account the capacity limits and internal constraints that the centre may have at any given time.
  • Think Ahead Academy is committed to safeguarding the interests of candidates, ensuring that all examination conditions established by the relevant board are met, and managing the complete process of dispatching examination scripts to the United Kingdom for assessment and the subsequent issuance of official grade certificates once received from the competent British authority.
  • Those wishing to sit an official Edexcel or Cambridge examination may register for as many exams as they wish, using the procedures and platforms enabled by Think Ahead Academy.
  • A student shall be formally registered for each official examination upon receipt by Think Ahead Academy of the completed registration form. This will simultaneously initiate the corresponding invoicing process.
  • Once the registration for a session has been formalised, Think Ahead Academy undertakes to conduct the examination on the date and time specified by the respective examination board, providing the necessary human and material resources for this purpose.
  • Should Think Ahead Academy be unable to carry out the scheduled examination session due to force majeure, the ongoing invoicing process will be halted, and the student will be refunded the full amount paid.
  • If a registered student is unable to attend the examination due to personal issues or any form of indisposition, the session will be invoiced in full. Similarly, if payment has already been made, the amount will not be refunded. However, Think Ahead Academy will evaluate each case individually.
  • The cost of this service is €200 per examination paper, bearing in mind that the number of papers varies depending on the subject and the examination board.

University Access

  • Think Ahead Academy is a private, non-regulated educational institution.
  • Students of Think Ahead Academy who sit official examinations, whether at the Academy’s own premises or at Virtus College (an institution with which a collaboration agreement exists), will receive an official IGCSE and/or A-Level certificate for each subject in which they have been assessed.
  • These certificates are sufficient for access to universities in countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, the Netherlands, among others, provided that the specific admission requirements of each individual university are met.
  • For access to the vast majority of universities in Spain, both public and private, it is generally sufficient to obtain the UNED Accreditation. However, for certain universities, it may be necessary to have A-Level studies officially validated (homologated). Due to its status as a non-regulated educational institution, students of Think Ahead Academy are not eligible to have their studies officially homologated.
  • Therefore, it is the responsibility of the parents, prior to enrolling the student at the Academy, to ascertain whether the Spanish universities to which the student intends to apply require official homologation, or whether the UNED Accreditation is sufficient.
  • The procedure for obtaining UNED Accreditation may be undertaken through what is known as the “Direct Access Route” (Studies listed in Annex I: Educational systems of the EU or countries with reciprocal agreements and access requirements as set out in Article 2.1.I.), provided that the student meets the conditions stipulated by UNED. All applicable regulations can be consulted in the “UNED Regulations for the Accreditation of Students from International Educational Systems for Access and Admission to Spanish Universities”, available on the official website: https://unedasiss.uned.es/home
  • Think Ahead Academy will be responsible for carrying out the necessary formalities to obtain the UNED Accreditation on behalf of the student. All costs arising from this process, including those related to the issuance of predicted grades by the examination boards, shall be borne entirely by the client.

Duration, Amendments and Termination

  • The agreement between the parents and the Academy, as set out in the clauses of this Terms and Conditions document, shall come into effect on the date of its signature.
  • The agreement shall remain valid until the student is no longer enrolled at the Academy, and provided that each party continues to fulfil the obligations incumbent upon them under this agreement.
  • A student who engages in, or has engaged in, behaviour contrary to the Academy’s internal regulations may be excluded from the Academy at the moment such behaviour becomes known, regardless of when the misconduct actually occurred.
  • The exclusion or expulsion of a student under the circumstances outlined in Clauses 54 and 88 shall result in the termination of the agreement established between the parents and the Academy through this document. Such termination shall not entail the refund of any fees previously paid by the parents to the Academy.
  • Parents may unilaterally terminate the agreement, provided they notify the Academy in writing and with the understanding that:
    1. No refund shall be made for amounts previously paid.
    2. A final reconciliation of the account will be undertaken, considering all lessons delivered up to the date of termination. If the difference between the amounts already paid and the total number of lessons delivered results in an outstanding balance in favour of the Academy, a final invoice will be issued to the client. This invoice shall take into account any refunds due for lessons cancelled during official examination periods.
    3. The Academy reserves the right to claim up to 30% of the unpaid instalments of the programme as compensation for loss of earnings.

Final Provisions

Think Ahead Academy reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, with prior notice to students and families. This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties for the Private Candidate Programme 2025–26.
